I would recommend them to family and friends. All in all, they offer good services for the value. Nail trims and other services are an additional cost. I wish it was a little more detailed and a deeper clean. They do housekeeping once a week, but it's pretty quick. Here you have to wait to get buzzed in and the wait is often longer than necessary. One suggestion I would offer is a smoother entry process after hours for visitors. They are in the process of modernizing décor, which is nice. ![]() Meal delivery to the rooms is often delayed. The food is ok, but the portions are small and not a lot of variety. I'm sure Covid has played a part in that. Transportation is only a couple days a week and outings are few. Communication with the family is very good. They offer diabetic care, which a lot of other facilities that we toured do not. Sometimes they're a little slow to respond, but again I think that's due to short staffing. They do seem to be short staffed liked everyone else, but the care staff is great. I have spent several days a week in this facility for over a year now, providing direct therapy services to residents who have experienced a decline in function, and I've found that the care that they receive from the staff at Peakview is top notch. In other words my gratitude for Peakview cannot be measured with words!! My mom is well taken care of and her only complaint is the static her socks create in the winter! Lol. I was amazed at the friendly staff and up beat atmosphere. My heart was more at ease at Peakview then any of the other places we looked at. She herself gave us a wonderful tour, spoke about her journey to Peakview and how her love for each resident stemmed from her own grandmother. She greeted us with a huge smile and welcome. The manager, Jayna, (who I have come to know well from many phone calls)happened to be coming out of the dining room. When we walked in we were greeted immediately!! Which was great. Peak place has trees and flowers and a wonderful sitting area. So many places we looked at seemed like a jail with not very many windows or flowers, grass or trees. When we arrived at Peakview the first thing we noticed was how well the outside of the build and lawn had been taken care of. When we found out my mother was no longer fit to care for herself we knew we needed to find a place that would give her the care and attention she needed along with the things she would love.
